Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) is the Group's non-ring fenced bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary, established to support a stronger, more transparent banking industry for the benefit of our customers and shareholders.

Within our Chief Operating Office the Customer & Colleague Proposition and Business Insights team leads on Data led Insights, which focuses on supporting partners to make critical decisions.
About the role:
This role will apply ad hoc data analytics and build Tableau dashboards to provide business with meaningful insights. Other activities include:

- Leading & mentoring analysts within your growing team
- Identifying cross-functional use-cases where data analysis can be applied and crafting appropriate data pipelines
- Running proofs-of-concept to test feasibility and value, uncovering benefits for their customers and business
- Architecting the future of data at LBCM, driving improvements in data ways-of-working and development cycle time
- Sourcing and processing data, using domain-specific/agnostic techniques.
- Communicating and discussing exciting insights to the wider business, including showcasing others’ experience
- Working with teams and partners across our business to balance ambition with what is achievable
- Collaborating with the wider data teams, including data governance and data quality teams within LBCM
- Maintaining and expanding our portfolio of analytics, free from manual and BAU data requests, focused on more sophisticated, ‘forward looking’ analytics
As the Senior Manager you'll bring the following capabilities:
Essential:
- Experience with SQL and Python, with a good command of typical libraries for data analysis and data science
- Experience with Tableau
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to describe technical solutions to non-technical colleagues
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, scope and develop data solutions
- A creative approach to problem-solving and solution prioritising
- A good grasp of core mathematical and statistical concepts
- Solid understanding of data warehouses, process automation and governance.
- Ability to manage code using version control
- A good understanding of, and experience applying, project management principles on day to day delivery
Desirable:
- Teradata and Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of data related regulatory requirements (Governance and Ring-fencing)
- Knowledge of emerging trends and issues within the Data Analytics and Science landscapes
- Experience working in regulated frameworks
