The Customer Experience Design team have an integral role in optimising each interaction customers have with our brands. By focusing on human outcomes, the CX Design team strives to achieve the highest levels of engagement that customers derive from our propositions and services.
As a Design Analytics Lead you'll be responsible for leading a team to embed a data-driven approach to the design of change, using our wealth of customer data to help inform solutions to problems and opportunities facing our customers through informing the design of great customer experiences.

We’re looking for an experienced data analyst/analyst leader who can be responsible for developing and delivering against a broad analytics agenda; someone who is able to draw upon their skills and experience to lead a team to deliver robust, high quality customer analytics. You’ll need to show a passion for the role data can play in driving evidence-based decision making, and an ability to translate data into practical insight, creating impact and influencing the direction of change. You'll be someone who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues from across a number of fields, balance technical and business narratives, and effectively prioritise resources. You'll analyse and evaluate the feasibility/relevance of proposed complex financial products. You'll then develop and amend as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervise activities performed by a financial product development/specialist team.

Essentials:
- Excellent understanding of core analytical toolsets such as SQL & Tableau
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analytical techniques
- A track record of translating data into compelling stories
- Strong understanding of all aspects of financial services
- A strong collaborator with great influencing skills
- Ability to coach and mentor
- The desire to make a difference!
Desirables:
- Evidence of managing analysts/analytical teams
- Experience of Hadoop, R or Python
- Experience of Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Technical and team leadership
- A good knowledge of core statistical methods for data analysis
- Predictive modelling experience
