Credit Risk Officer

An international bank are currently seeking a Credit Risk Officer to join their London based operations.

Reporting to the Head of Prudential Risk, the Credit Risk Officer will have responsibility for the oversight of credit risk, advising on all aspects of the Credit Risk Framework, Risk Appetite and Credit Policies.          

The role will broadly encompass the ongoing development and monitoring of measures to assess credit risk, e.g. KPIs, the production of Credit Risk reporting, BCBS239 data aggregation and MI for the Bank’s Governance Committee and Senior Management and review and challenge 1^st line credit reporting and IFRS9 ECL calculations.

Applicants should have credit risk experience within the banking sector and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of credit risk and IFRS9 ECL calculations. The ability to work with senior stakeholders is a necessity for this role.
