My client, a financial services sector focused organisation have an opening for a Finance Risk and Controls Assurance Manager to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

This opportunity will play a vital role in preventing risks to the integrity of their financial and regulatory reporting, safeguarding the business from statutory, legal and regulatory issues. You will provide support and cover for the Head of Finance Risk in all aspects of the role, working closely with finance teams to develop a robust control environment, ensuring the integrity of their internal and external statutory and regulatory reporting.

Excellent communication skills are essential in this role, as you will work closely with colleagues and senior stakeholders to drive delivery, identify risks and escalate concerns.

Ideally qualified, this opportunity would suit someone with strong controls and governance experience gained from within the financial services sector. The role would suit someone with internal and/or external audit experience and/or someone from a risk & controls assurance (SOX) environment. The position is available immediately and will run until the end of the year.
