About Capital Risk & Prudential Transformation
Sitting within the LBG Risk Function, Capital Risk & Prudential Transformation (CR&PT) accountabilities include the oversight of the group’s capital requirements and the production of prudential regulatory and impairment reporting.
The Role
The Senior Analyst role sits within the Prudential Execution (PE) team of CR&PT. The PE team delivers Capital, Forbearance and Impairment Regulatory reporting (retail and commercial), demonstrating that LBG is a strong and stable bank, delivering on the strategy of helping Britain prosper.
It's vital that the Group is able to submit accurate and reliable information to our regulators, in order to support their regulatory activities and provide a stable Financial sector!

The Role Involves:
- Producing Regulatory Forbearance and Stress Testing reporting, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate and meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring controls operate correctly and acquiring sign off from senior stakeholders.
- Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance insights, efficiencies and control.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on all projects and regulatory requests, managing the impact of change and ensuring high standards of data governance.
- Presenting clear stories and recommendations so senior management and the regulator fully understand report outputs.
- Furthering CR&PT’s strong culture of engagement, including supporting senior management in team initiatives.
So what do we need to see on your CV?
To be successful in this role it is crucial that you are:
- Experienced in developer coding (SAS or equivalent).
- Passionate about data insight and problem solving, with strong analytical ability.
- Able to display effective communication skills, allowing others to act on your insights. Including, presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Experienced in data analysis, problem solving and process development with the ability to work accurately to tight timescales.
- Able to undertake and lead User Acceptance testing and work collaboratively on Change Requests.
- Able to work as part of a team and make a positive contribution.
Desirable skills
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Good knowledge of Credit Risk and the Basel Framework.
- Experience of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Power BI.
- Experience of data governance and developing supporting documentation.
- Numerate degree or equivalent experience.
- A track record of self development.
