Audit and Risk Recruitment has partnered with a top 10 accountancy firm and are looking to recruit an individual to join a rapidly expanding Digital team to aid in growing their portfolio of clients.

The team sits right at the heart of the Audit practice. Out client leverages their deep technical expertise to evaluate the risks associated with the use of technology for businesses in a number of sectors - from Consumer Markets, Retail, Technology Media & Telecoms, Natural Resources, Energy & Shipping and Financial Services. They use data analytics procedures to look for trends, anomalies and also understand IT and business processes whilst identifying the risks. It’s exciting and interesting work that can include evaluating risks around emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics Process Automation (RPA) as well as cyber related risks.

You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the delivery of our data audit requirements for our portfolio of external audits, overseeing the delivery of high quality work and develop the team members working alongside them.

· Scoping and planning our data-enabled audit approaches to address audit risk in the most effective way

· Reviewing the work performed by the team so that high quality audit standards are maintained

· Providing insightful reporting to our internal and external stakeholders

· Coordinating and supporting their regional team to support both the current and future pipeline of work. Embedding strong project and financial management across the team is essential.

· Inspirational People Management: Inspire, coach and develop the team will be essential. In addition, developing and overseeing training programmes will be important to ensure skills remain current and relevant.

· Bring ideas to enhance our delivery and act as a point of escalation throughout an engagement with respect to project delivery matters. Identify and raise matters with a Director/Senior Manager or Partner while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.

· Innovation: Contribute to the development of methodologies and guidance for internal use as well as solutions to improve efficiency.

· Networking and Marketing: Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events, keep abreast of the wide range of services the firm offers and suggest innovative products and services. Contribute and shape team meetings and represent the team at office and firm meetings as required.

· Personal Development: Continue to bring the latest Technology insights to the Partner and Director community and share knowledge with the teams.

Technical Skills:

· Essential: Extensive knowledge of financial audit testing concepts and principles.

· Essential: Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and transaction cycles.

· Essential: Extensive experience of delivering audit data analytics on large and complex engagements.

· Essential: Good experience of managing a portfolio of clients, deliverables and stakeholder expectations.

· Essential: Knowledge of Audit Data Analytics graphical presentation solutions such as PowerBI or Qlikview.

· Essential: Knowledge of advanced Audit Data Analytics techniques such as MS SQL scripting, Azure Data Bricks, Python, R

· Desirable: Knowledge of data wrangling / manipulation and automated workflow techniques such as Alteryx, VBA, Microsoft Power platform

· Desirable: Experience in programming languages such as .NET C#, JavaScript

· Desirable: ERP Experience in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft etc.

· Desirable: Experience in Process Mining tools such as Celonis, QPR, UiPath

· Desirable: Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, such as Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), on AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure platform, IBM Watson
