Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Stevenage
Pay Rate: Up to GBP39/hr - INSIDE IR35
Overview:
The Data Analyst - Component Engineering department play an important support role, not just within the group but the wider business. You will ensure we deliver a comprehensive component service ensuring data and reporting activities are carried out.
Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and compliance of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Mailbox Queries: Process and respond to mailbox queries, providing crucial support to our teams.
- Obsolescence Database Administration: Lead the administration of our component obsolescence database, considering life cycle status, export control, and REACH/RoHS compliance.
- Obsolescence Notifications: Internally process obsolescence notifications, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Spreadsheet Analysis: Utilize your data processing skills to perform in-depth spreadsheet analysis and generate insightful reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement activities, contributing to the optimization of our processes.
Skillset/Experience Required:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent: Hold an engineering degree or possess relevant experience that demonstrates your qualifications.
- Engineering Knowledge: Have knowledge and experience in the engineering discipline, allowing you to understand and address technical challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibit a high concern for diligence, order, and quality in your work.
- Proactive and Enthusiastic: Be proactive and enthusiastic, taking initiative to drive positive change.
- Multi-Tasking: Be adept at handling multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently, while maintaining quality.
- Strong Communication: Possess strong communication skills to work remotely with teams and facilitate face-to-face interactions.
