This a newly created opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most successful construction and development companies to grow their internal audit (and risk) team, nearly from scratch. The company is one of the UK's leaders in its industry and employs people throughout the country to build award-winning projects, which enhance local communities and neighbourhoods.
The most recent assignment we have been given is to find an Internal Audit Manager who can be based nearly anywhere in the UK, but their largest offices/operating facilities are based in London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle, Milton Keynes, (just outside) Leicester, Nottingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, and Leeds.
They operate a hybrid model meaning you would work from home as much as you like, and you would only need to be in one of the offices 2, maximum 3 days a week (can do more if you would like to, but it’s not required).
What will you do?
Reporting directly to the Head of Audit, you will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end Group-wide financial and operation audits and ad-hoc projects, as part of the annual audit plan as well as managing the co-source delivered projects.
What you’ll need
We are looking for a finance/accountancy/audit/advisory professional, with experience in audit, either from practice (Big 4 or Top 10), from industry or a mix of the two. A qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, CIA, etc.).
