WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Identifies and pursues new sales prospects within existing or untapped markets. Gathers market intelligence, generates leads, and develops proposals/campaigns to garner new business, ensuring a consistent flow of new revenues to the company. Uses knowledge of markets, industries, and clients to determine demand, future trends and potential projects. Works pre-developed lead lists to generate business and identify new customer prospects.
Responsible for client relationships, including attracting and retaining new clients and strengthening current relationships. Activities include maximizing cross-sales opportunities through customer profiling with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in other business banking products. Provides support to help clients coordinate solutions, manage accounts, obtain advice and administer services. Ensures customer questions and issues are answered correctly and efficiently by documenting and identifying trends in customer service needs. Resolves and oversees customer issues surrounding consulting, information, and software services, solutions and products. Makes presentations to potential clients and contributes to the achievement of sales targets.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
The job will entail designing the client strategy in the U.S. for the Sustainable Tech and the Digital space, identifying new clients, delivering a business plan with those clients together with product partners, onboarding them and handle the relationships with those clients.
Focus will be on the Sustainable Tech space, where we identify, onboard and bank companies in technologies that will help decarbonize the economy. These technologies can include: Hydrogen, Battery Tech, Energy Storage and EV Charging, Carbon Capture and Climate Tech, Circular economy, Foodtech and Agritech.
Serve as the primary contact for client group, developing and driving opportunities to sell the banks products and services.
Deliver specified budget and financial metrics.
Acts as a liaison with the client, client coverage team, credit and other business partners, including subsidiary bankers and product sales across regions to help deliver the firm to the client.
Supports ad hoc requests from clients, interacting across internal stakeholders.
Assists with ensuring assigned client portfolio is kept current with all aspects of the firm's KYC/AML requirements.
Monitors credit exposure across the family relationship and partner with Credit Risk on credit related asks.
Manages due diligence, credit, coverage, reference data and other requirements resulting from corporate actions.
Participates in client planning activities and client calls.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field. (Req)
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent field. (Pref)
Work Experience:
12+ years of relevant work experience.(Req)
Skills and Abilities:
P revious experience in the energy sector
Significant Corporate Banking or related product experience
Strong Corporate Banking background with experience navigating complex global organizations
Deep knowledge of credit
Strong and diverse product knowledge
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sales skills in a fast paced environment
Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities
Self starter and able to self generate sales prospects and pipeline
Proven ability to build and develop relationships. Strong internal network will be critical to success
Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Comfortable working in an environment that is evolving and subject to change

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $198,000-$250,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
