Our client is a well-known, mid-sized global financial services group experiencing consistent success and growth.  As a result, they have an excellent opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join their growing internal audit team, to deliver and execute a portfolio of audits across their business.

The opportunity

Your focus of your role will be to provide audit coverage of the front office trading desks, covering a range of asset classes. 

Initially you will support the delivery of audits, gaining exposure to all aspects of the audit lifecycle. Then, having established yourself, you will get the opportunity to progress within the role from supporting the delivery of audits to leading audits from end to end. 

In addition to your primary front office focus you will gain occasional exposure to other areas of the business and the associated 2^nd line and support functions, giving you a broad understanding of the whole group.

Your profile:

• You will have 5+ years audit/internal audit experience
• Experience of the Financial Services sector and the UK regulated environment
• Experience of all stages of the audit cycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player.
