This is a great time to join our accomplished Internal Audit team at Flintshire who have gained a great reputation through the exceptional work we have achieved and support our team to further enhance our service.

As a Principal Auditor with significant people management skills and audit experience gained across the public or private sector, you will bring valued experience and enthusiasm. For this exciting position, well-developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential. The successful candidate will have risk-based audit, advisory and consulting experience together with an ability to assist in delivering a planned programme of work. You will contribute to the achievement of the Council Plan by providing advice to Senior Managers on Governance, Risk and Control.

CCAB qualification (CIPFA, CA, ACCA) or a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CMIIA) is essential.
