As a Compliance Monitoring Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping the firm achieve this goal. You will be responsible for monitoring business practices, policies, and procedures to ensure they meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about compliance and has meticulous attention to detail. You will work closely with the legal team to identify risk areas and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Your new role

  • Undertake compliance monitoring across the firm, adhering to the timetable outlined in the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Undertake compliance monitoring to ensure alignment with regulatory and societal requirements.
  • To carry out ad hoc monitoring when required
  • Determine compliance with internal policy and procedures
  • Ensure that compliance monitoring testing is completed promptly
  • Accurately record all findings in the Compliance Monitoring Action Log

What you\'ll need to succeed

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of compliance monitoring and regulatory requirements in the legal industry and AML/CFT.
  • Experience in Client Due Diligence on-boarding requirements, preferably in a law firm environment
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
