Your new company
Having recently grown by acquisition, this privately owned insurance business is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to support their finance and business intelligence teams with accounting and analysis work.
Either Perth or Sydney based applicants will be considered.
Your new role
- Finance and Business Intelligence ‘deep dive’ analysis
- Maintain and develop key sub-ledger accounting process
- Financial risk management
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Monthly management reporting including variance analysis and commentary
What you'll need to succeed
- Completion of a relevant Degree
- Completion/studying post-graduate qualification or desire for further education
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent data manipulation skills and report writing skills including advanced Excel
- Database or programming ability will be considered favourably
- Mathematics or statistical ability will be considered favourably.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills including work prioritisation and an ability to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation)
- Residents of Perth or Sydney with full working rights will be considered
