AI Data Modelling Engineer - 45K - Sheffield (Hybrid)

A Sheffield based, forward thinking, and award winning business are looking to add to their existing team with the acquisition of a new AI Data Modelling Engineer. A role that will see the successful candidate developing models with python to test control strategies for power flow in the energy or engineering sector. Whilst also providing exceptional personal development and progression opportunities.

This role will be based from my clients Sheffield office on a hybrid working model. The exact arrangement will depend on experience and location, however, please note that office travel will be required every week.

All candidates must have the relevant right to work in the UK and no future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Using Python to simulate and model performance of electric power systems
• Conduct statistical modelling to identify energy trends, support energy planning and forecast utility consumption and budgets
• Primary and secondary data collection, as well as compiling and maintaining databases
• Clearly document data, methodology and results fir reports and presentations
• Presenting results effectively and create support documentation for software and tools

Requirements:

• Good understanding of EOS (Energy Optimisation Systems) Principles
• Proven experience using Python for massive data processing and advanced software development
• Knowledge of AI algorithm categories
