CIBC Bank USA seeks a Director, Risk Analytics to drive data collection and modeling efforts, including evaluation of model methodologies. Perform risk model assessment and implementation testing. Support model validation efforts and regulatory audit requests. Develop Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) model. Manage CECL throughout model lifecycle, including model performance monitoring, maintaining documentation, remediation of risk findings, enhancement/re-calibrations. Develop the business's risk assessment capabilities for identification of warning signs, trends, and actionable insights to manage risks and enhance returns. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 5 years of experience with risk analytics, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements, including CCAR, DFAST, Basel III, and CECL in a bank or financial services company setting. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with building statistical models using Statistical and Machine Learning techniques; 5 years of experience with model lifecycle of expected credit loss models for allowance and stress testing purposes; and 5 years of experience with Power BI, Python, and analytics packages for regression models, time series analysis, and machine leaning models.
