About the Role

The Company, a global leader in medical devices, critical care, and transformative healthcare innovations, is seeking a Senior Counsel for its Ethics & Compliance (E&C) group to join the Legal Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and participating in internal investigations globally, particularly related to potential employee misconduct in violation of the company's Code of Conduct and the laws and regulations of the United States and other countries. This includes investigations into anti-corruption, fraud, and other types of corporate misconduct. The role involves managing the E&C internal investigations program, collaborating with and managing outside counsel as necessary, and mentoring a team that includes investigations leads for the APAC and EMEA regions. Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate ( from an accredited law school, with at least 9 years of relevant experience, preferably a mix of private practice and in-house roles. Experience in managing others and knowledge of anti-corruption, antitrust, and trade compliance laws are required, with experience in pharmaceutical and medical device regulation being preferred. The role demands unquestioned integrity, excellent communication skills, strong legal abilities, and the ability to operate effectively in complex organizational environments. The candidate should also have leadership abilities and a proven track record of collaborating with others to address complex issues. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish or other languages is preferred.
