Technology Risk & Assurance Lead

A global leader in the agricultural business is seeking an experienced technology risk and assurance professional to join their global assurance team, to be based in their headquarter in Rotterdam, NL.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage medium to high complexity audits, from planning to reporting.
• Build and coach high-performing audit teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Identify process improvements to mitigate risks and drive efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management to ensure clear understanding of audit findings.
• Mentor junior staff, developing their business acumen and problem-solving skills.

You'll be a great fit if you have:

• You have a professional certification such as RE, CISA, CISM or CPA, CIA or RA with IT experience;
• You have at least 8 years' experience in IT Audit/IT security gained in either professional practice or corporate environment (industry/Big 4);
• You have experience in auditing complex processes, preferably in manufacturing or financial services, with a focus on IT as well as business processes such as supply chain, trading, processing, finance, risk, compliance, etc.;
• You have solid understanding of IT risk management and IT control frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL and ISF), and proven ability to independently evaluate controls to drive continuous improvement.
