Senior Internal Auditor

Global consultancy seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to join either their North West (Manchester/Liverpool) or Yorkshire (Leeds) team as a Senior Internal Auditor.

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for leading audits across a portfolio of corporate and public sector clients and playing a key leadership role in the delivery of internal audit services to clients.

You will lead and ensure the delivery of a portfolio of internal audits for the client base. You will supervise, mentor and support more junior members of the team and will gain broad experience of delivering audits and projects across our commercial and not for profit client base.

The successful candidate will

• Be MIIA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIA qualified with at least 1 years' experience in internal audit (This can be in practice or in industry).
• Have a detailed understanding of risk and controls and be able to articulate this with non-internal audit professionals.
• Have a strong understanding of internal audit methodology.
• Be keen to add value to your portfolio of clients as you strive to improve efficiency for them and build client relationships.
