About the Role
This influential role will be responsible for identifying and assessing evidence of Hightown’s compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across the business. This will include developing and managing systems for demonstrating effective controls relating to the governance and the management of Hightown's services. You will be working across the business to provide assurance to Hightown's Board and senior officers that we are fully compliant with the core standards expected of social housing providers. Your work will be varied including conducting compliance audits, helping managers to identify solutions to compliance gaps, acting as the deputy Data Protection Officer and updating key policies and procedures relating to compliance and assurance.
About You
You will thrive working with teams across the business, where you will put your excellent knowledge of compliance and business assurance processes to good use. Ideally, you will have experience of working within the housing sector or a similar highly regulated environment.
You must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and have strong communication, written, and presentation skills. Your ability to interpret and present complex data to others will help to influence and achieve positive outcomes.
