Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager Position - Beaconsfield - Top 100 Accountancy Firm

Are you an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager seeking a new opportunity at a Top 100 firm that can offer great place to progress your career and make your mark?

Our client a Top 100 firm based in Beaconsfield with almost 90 team members, are a growing & pioneering practice. They are looking to recruit ambitious, self-starters, who thrive in finding solutions, building great client relationships and working in a collaborative team.

Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and develop a small portfolio of clients.
  • Ensuring assignments are fully completed before being passed to Partners.
  • Planning the assignment efficiently to meet budgets and recoverability of fees required and communicate to the team.
  • Allocate work to other team members ensuring regular review and feedback to meet compliance standards.
  • Interact fully with clients in conjunction with senior audit team ensuring they are kept informed of progress.
  • Always apply up-to-date technical knowledge, advising team as required.
  • Report to Managers and Partners.

As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager - you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have over 18 month' post-qualified experience of leading audits from planning to completion
  • Be experienced in managing a small portfolio of audit and accounts clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
  • Have a strong skillset across accountancy, including corporate tax.
  • Preferably have working knowledge of CCH Audit Automation & CCH Accounts Production
  • Have experience of external auditing of small and medium sized enterprises under FRS102
  • Have experience of external auditing of listed corporations under IFRS
  • Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the financial services sector
