If you're currently operating at Director level (or a top-end Senior Manager) in audit in the Netherlands, and you want a defined, credible route to Partner, this is worth a conversation.
It's tied to a real succession plan, there is a Partner is retiring in 2027, and the firm is hiring with that transition in mind. The expectation is clear:
come in at Director level and step into Partner.
We're working with a fast-growing, mid-sized (Top 8) accounting firm. They have grown exponentially in their niche, which has been medium-to-large, family-owned/privately held companies (both Dutch and International). They are sector agnostic, with a wide variety of industries served, such as financial services, manufacturing, shipping, logistics, FMCG, retail, chemicals, and more.
You'll spend your first year shadowing the existing Partner, building relationships with their clients. As you progress into your second year, you'll take over the management of these clients as you become a Partner.
With a strong emphasis on work/life balance, a young, entrepreneurial company culture, and a profit share that is very competitive, this role would be perfect for an ambitious manager or SM looking to guarantee their path the making Partner at a global firm.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience at an international accounting firm, currently working as a Director (or very experienced Senior Manager)
- You will have completed the RA qualification
- Fluent in Dutch
- You'll be a driven individual, with the goal of making Partner
- A technically strong accountant, but also a 'people person', willing to get involved in client networking, business development, and the management and mentorship of junior staff
Apply today (don't worry if your CV isn't perfectly up to date, it's just a conversation starter). We can have an informal first discussion to outline the role in more detail and discuss the application process.
