Audit Quality Senior, Amstelveen

Audit quality doesn't happen by accident it's designed, challenged, and continuously improved by people who understand audit at its core.

This position is ideal for a technically strong external auditor who wants to move away from day-to-day client delivery and into a role focused on audit methodology, digital assurance, and quality improvement. Prior experience in audit quality is not required.

You will work closely with audit teams, innovation specialists, and technical stakeholders to ensure audit tools, processes, and methodologies meet the highest quality standards. This is a high-impact position influencing audit quality across multiple engagements, with long-term development opportunities in audit quality, methodology, and innovation.

What you'll be doing:

• Review and assess digital audit solutions against audit methodology and quality standards
• Support the development, documentation, and implementation of audit data & analytics tools
• Contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement of audit processes
• Act as a quality and methodology point of contact for audit teams
• Support firm-wide audit quality and compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• Professionally qualified (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• 3 - 6 years' experience in external audit, ideally gained within a Big Four or top-tier firm
• Minimum of 2 years' Dutch statutory audit experience, with strong knowledge of the local regulatory environment
• Fluent Dutch language skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and challenge audit judgments constructively
