Internal Auditor

We have been exclusively selected to further build-out the internal audit team of a FTSE 250 media organisation in central London (3 days a week in office, 2 days WFH). Our next assignment is to recruit an Internal Auditor - ideal for someone nearly qualified, newly qualified, or someone already in IA, and looking for a change for another reason.

This role will report to the Internal Audit Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Internal Audit, who ultimately reports to the Group CFO and AC. The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• Delivering an internal audit plan.
• Conducting audits of the business' departments, processes and activities to ensure the continued adherence to and effective implementation of policies, procedures and regulations.
• Reporting audit findings for review, prior to the submission of the final reports to the Board of Directors and Senior Management.
• Performing ad-hoc tasks, reviews and investigations as requested by Senior Management or Board of Directors.
• Evaluating controls and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations.
• Preparing and issuing recommendations and ensuring their implementation.
• Liaising with stakeholders up to CEO level and frequent communication with the AC .
• Keeping an up-to-date and good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements to provide advice and guidance to the various departments.
• Travel internationally, up to 20%.

We are looking for a Big 4/Top 10 trained auditor, ideally with a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA/CPA/etc.). Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably at a media/tech/etc. business would be an advantage, but not essential, although an interest in technology industry would be.

We are looking for a dynamic auditor, with a hands-on, results driven approach. The ability to develop in this role is unrestricted both up in internal audit into an audit management role, or into the Group (into finance, etc.). If you are interested, please do get in touch.
