Internal Control Manager - SOX - Global Organisation
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Function: Group Internal Controls

A leading global organisation is strengthening its Internal Controls function and is looking for an experienced professional to help shape and enhance its financial control environment across multiple regions. The Opportunity You will play a central role in developing, improving, and maintaining the organisation's internal control framework, with a particular focus on financial reporting and compliance. Working closely with regional and functional stakeholders, you will support the assessment and implementation of key controls, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, documentation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
  • Partner with business units and process owners to identify risks and recommend control enhancements
  • Contribute to risk assessments and help define the annual SOX testing plan
  • Assist in the remediation of control deficiencies and monitor progress
  • Prepare clear and insightful reports for senior stakeholders on control effectiveness and remediation status
  • Promote best practices, efficiency, and consistency across regions and functions
About You
  • Strong background in internal controls, financial compliance, or audit
  • Excellent understanding of risks and controls in complex, multinational environments
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
