IT Internal Audit Manager

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)

A global organisation with a well-established internal audit function is looking to appoint an IT Internal Audit Manager to support technology risk, controls, and governance activities across the business.

This is a senior role offering exposure to complex IT environments, leadership responsibility, and strong interaction with stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead IT audit and advisory engagements focused on controls and governance
  • Manage and develop an audit team, driving performance and engagement
  • Support improvements across IT, financial, and operational processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to enhance risk management and control effectiveness
  • Contribute to audit planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in IT audit or technology risk
  • Strong exposure to SOX and enterprise systems
  • Professional certification preferred (CISA, CISM, or similar)
  • Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in English
