Your New Role 

As the Supplier Compliance Manager, you will take the lead in managing and developing a dedicated Compliance Team across2 sites. This is a pivotal role within the Supply Chain function, responsible for ensuring all subcontractors and suppliers meet the highest standards of competence, governance and statutory compliance. 

You will operate with significant autonomy, applying your professional judgement across a broad range of compliance disciplines. From detailed technical reviews to continuous improvement of governance systems, you’ll play a crucial role in strengthening operational integrity across construction and framework activities. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  •  Leading, managing and mentoring a team of Compliance Coordinators.
  • Overseeing the full onboarding and pre-qualification process for all supply chain partners.
  • Ensuring every consultant, subcontractor and supplier meets legal, regulatory and H&S requirements.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the supply chain compliance database and associated records.
  • Providing specialist review and evaluation of accreditations, insurances, RAMS and statutory documentation.
  • Working closely with Operational, Commercial and SHEQ teams to ensure only fully compliant partners are engaged.
  • Identifying risks, gaps or non-conformances and driving corrective action.
  • Supporting audits, external accreditations and supply chain performance reviews.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong experience in 3rd party compliance and be confident managing people, prioritising workloads and driving high performance. 

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex compliance information.
  • A solid understanding of construction competency frameworks and statutory obligations.
  • A methodical and organised approach with sound, evidence based decision making ability.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence both internal teams and external partners.
