The Internal Auditor is responsible for executing and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.

A Role You Will Love

The Trainee Auditor is responsible for contributing to the execution of and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. In addition, the Auditor will participate in projects and build relationships within the business during audit reviews.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage compliance with Computershare global policies, procedures, and processes, including the Internal Audit methodology.
  • Be a supporter of change, including identifying enhancement opportunities and challenging the status quo, to improve the operation of the Internal Audit function.
  • Effectively interacting with internal/external clients/Statutory & professional bodies and external Audit partners, to deliver effective outcomes
  • Collaborating with a range of colleagues within an organization
  • Delivering quality work to agreed timescales

What Will You Bring to The Role? 

The Trainee Auditor is responsible for contributing to the execution of and reporting on operational, financial and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. In addition, the Auditor will participate in projects and build relationships within the business during audit reviews.

Other education and key skills required for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent work experience
  • Basic experience of working with a wide range of colleagues in an organization
  • Basic understanding of internal audit and third-party assurance disciplines in terms of processes, procedures, systems, theories, and practices.
  • Basic understanding of Compliance management, Risk Management and Quality
  • Understanding of how the functions of the enterprise work together
  • Understanding of the external competitor landscape
  • Understanding of understanding of the regulatory landscape
  • Experience delivering against defined goals and targets
  • Experience positively embracing diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement of process, systems and policies
  • Experience working within set processes, policies & procedures
  • Experience analyzing internal and external data
  • Experience communicating effectively (across all mediums) with the ability to adapt style to engage with all levels within the organization
  • Experience working as part of a team to deliver results
