About the Job

The role is based within the Operational Audit Directorates but with a close working partnership with the People team including the Deputy Director. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the support and development of our people to ensure successful completion of trainee programmes and career progression. The role is central to ensuring that GIAA can develop strong talent pipelines and career pathways for our apprentices and trainees to support in growing our own talent and that there’s clear alignment to our Agency workforce plans.

This role will act as the subject matter expert on the Professional pathways with the significant majority relating to internal audit. It will provide insight to our senior leadership team to inform measurable actions to improve the learning experience of our workforce making GIAA the best place to work for people to pursue careers as an internal auditor, a counter fraud and investigation specialist, an innovator, or in the corporate and enabling roles.

Hybrid Working is available to GIAA colleagues. This means a combination of office working and working from home. This includes time spent in our GIAA office locations and can also include any time spent attending our customers' sites.

GIAA colleagues are expected to work in an office location for two days a week on average (40%). Naturally, this expectation will be applied on a pro-rata basis for people who have a part-time or compressed hours working pattern.
